I don't think you get it. There was this huge fish that I know quite well who plays poker a bunch that sat on my right the other day. He was there to GAMBLE, and wanted to post right away. The dealer said "it's better to wait" so he just took her advice. He looked disappointed that he ended up waiting. These people just wanna gamble. If the dealer tells them it's better to wait, they listen though, because they don't want to APPEAR foolish.
It's bad for the gambling atmosphere of the game.
