It has not skyrocketed compared to preflop. But it is much higher than on most other flops you will get (and the flop is inevitable isnīt it.)
Your equity has gone from 32-34% preflop to 36-38%.
Compare that to the drop to 23.5% you get with a Jxx rainbow flop and the 15% with an Axx rainbow flop. Two flush board flops are even worse.Two ovgercard flops also.
Basically your preflop equity just goes up in smoke on 8 out of 10 boards.Then you still have your position problem left.
