wow this is really disgusting
the same prosecutor in this case charged someone in a similar circumstance in 2000.

"Jerry Bittner was indicted in March 2000 on one count each of involuntary manslaughter and child endangering. The charges stemmed from a series of events that occurred on June 23, 1998 and resulted in the death of his six-month-old daughter, Serena. That day, upon Bittner's return home from work at 6:30 p.m., it was discovered that Serena had been left in the family's van in the driveway for more than an hour with an outside temperature of eighty-four degrees Fahrenheit."
Of course the cases are a little bit different(Bittner lied about what happened), but it's still ridiculous.
