politically yes. most other aspects are probably closer but few americans will admit to anything that we're not at least equal to europe in. small groups of people have a fanatical love for certain things such as german cars or italian clothes.

for both questions, equal to some countries, greater than others. unless we're talking about places like Monaco but that doesn't count.

They're all different.
I also think each successive question became less and less debatable, like you'll probably get a lot of different opinions on the first one, but I don't know anyone who thinks of all of Europe as being the same.
