This isn't so much of a Business/Stock Market/Finance question, but I hope that the experience in here will lead me in the right direction.

I've been doing alot of research on Grants for Law Enforcement and I can't seem to find anything. Does anybody know of any sites that are great for grants? I'm looking into the available grants and how to write grants, and all of that other fun stuff.

I'm looking to develop my police department into something that resembles something in the 21st century. We currently are behind on the times. Everytime that we make an arrest we make an arrest card on that person, and we currently have cards that date back to the mid 30s. Yeah, ancient. We need a new system, and I want to be the one to be involved in the process because I like to get things done.

We also need a new computer reporting system, and there is a specific one that I want to use, but don't have the name of it just yet.

Any and all grants will work as I am looking to see what is available. I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to send a letter to my local and state representatives looking for information or help.
