Default What to do with bottom set here?

This hand came up last night in a 2/5 NL live game. The game is a $200 max buy in, and it plays pretty loose and fun with about 70% fish. The villian was playing very LAG and his stack was constantly up and down. He likes to get his chips in with flush draws, calls all in before the flop with garbage, and that kind of thing. He tends to make big bets on a bluff. Generally he is a great guy to have at the table.

So here is the hand, maybe its simple, but I didn't know what to do. I had about $400 and the villian had about $225 or so. I was in ML position. Villian was UTG. Villian limped, MP limped, I limped, and the button raised to $25. the SB called, the BB called, Villian called, MP called, and I called (pot $125). The flop came out 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB checks, BB checks, Villian bets $40, MP folds, Hero????
