OP, what did you hope to accomplish by following this guy in your car? You realize that he could just take off through some yards in the event that he hadn't done so already.
And what if he doesn't run? You going to run him over? Beat up an innocent neighbor or (try to) beat up a psychotic murderous prison escapee?

Ok I was going to drive up and to follow him. Listen when I saw him, I wasnt just going to run up on him, and if I tried he was already a good ways up..
If I get in my car, I could get a better glance. He most likely wouldnt just take off booking, if a car was driving. So I would drive up, get out, and ask him some questions.
