My least favorite phrase in the micros strikes again!
Seriously...this could not be further from the truth in a loose game. If you are in a tight game such that opening in UTG1 really is raise-or-fold, then you should be folding. Raising is only appropriate this early if you're almost positive you'll get a parade of coldcalls, often with trash.
