As someone who has gone the opposite way as the OP is wanting to do, I can say that Learned from TV's post is spot on.
I would also add, dealing with worse players with generally shallower thought processes, as Ive found the average mtter is generally worse at poker, and makes a lot more theoretical mistakes than the average midstakes 6mx player
