Default Re: Trip Report - Aviation Club de France (Paris)

[ QUOTE ]
BDub1,

It is well known that ACF allows smoking and has a dress code. If you find that abhorrent and archaic, then please just don't go rather than using this as some justification for jingoism.

As it happens, even with ACF, this was the least cigarette smoke overall I encountered on a trip to Paris. The law changed this year to prohibit smoking in a lot of public places.

Dude, you need to chill out. I have lots of reasons to dislike the French, the least of which is the smoking. Hey, I have few vices, leave me my racism, please.

My comments were meant to inform, and in fact, I do not play at ACF any longer, usually playing on the 1 or 2 trips I made each year. The smoking is miserable, and if these selfish [censored]$ don't understand the greater picture, then, hey, one more reason to dislike them. So, StevieG, take your singular trip to Paris, your lone experience playing at a mediocre casino (decorating sucks, food is abysmal, dress code is unevenly enforced, smoking is rampant) and continue playing your 2/4 limit games and post how great they are.

I was solely expressing my opinion. How this could be the least cigarette smoke you encountered when they banned smoking in most public places, makes me say, hmmmmm? Have a nice day
