What does that have to do with this thread? None of the tip money is coming out of the company profits. It's tips that customers have given to a dealer. That money never goes to the company so it never gets recorded as revenue.

Can a tax expert please verify this? When I co-owned a nightclub some years ago tips on credit cards were recorded as company revenue, that we paid out to the wait staff.
