Back to fun word facts . . .

"Companion" comes from the Latin words for "with" (com) and "bread" (pan). Thus, a companion is someone you eat bread with.

"Conspiritor" comes from the words for "together" and "breathe" (spiritus). When you breathe with someone, you're a conspirator.
