You worry too much. Seriously. If you pay taxes on your best good faith estimate, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Even if you did not report any of your winnings, both your chance of getting caught and the consequence of getting caught is probably much smaller than you think it is; otherwise you would not be so worried.
