Default Sklansky on Razz - Problem Question

I'm bored so I grabbed Sklansky on Poker off my shelf to read up on Razz. So, I look at the problems at the end and don't understand what the J is doing in the very first problem.

Hero has 746. Villain1 has 322. Villain2 has K8A. And then there is a lone Jack in the middle of it all. All 3rd Street problems have that lone card in the middle.

Can someone who has the book enlighten me? Or should I just go back to being bored?
