i've said it before -- the appropriate time for these prayers
is BEFORE you make your decision. i can't imagine God up there
mystically rearranging the deck on the fly as he listens to
their prayers, calculating sincerity, intentions, etc...

Yeah, here's God:

"Oh! Did you hear her prayer, Michael?! Let's make that next
card the queen of spades, giving him an inside straight draw!"
