Starting with the semifinals there have now been 72 performances. Quickly, off the top of your head, which really good performances can you remember? Not just "xxx did well in week two" but with at least some detailed memory of the performance. I think this is a pretty good test of who really has star quality.
For me, it's:
Melinda 2 (My Funny Valentine, I Am Woman)
LaKisha 1 (I Am Telling You I'm Not Going)
Blake 1 (All Mixed Up)
Stephanie 1 (How Come You Don't Call Me)
and really, that's about it. None of the others have turned in a truly memorable performance for me - I think that says a lot given they have had four shots, including three weeks where they could pick almost whatever song they want.

These were the best IMO, maybe forgetting one, but Melinda is basically the best ever.
