Sounds like management is just being anal about pushes staying on sched (say first dealer has to wait a minute, then the next dealer has to wait two.. Lord forbid if they have to wait for an Omaha hand...)

Maybe I am missing something but doesn't it all correct itself at the next push? Except for a guy who is going to punch out and has to stay an extra minute or two - and is the casino really going to care about 1/20 of $5 or whatever they pay dealers per hour - assuming they pay for it?

I don't know, just sounds insane to me if that's the reason. Either way, you know there are going to be some dealers complaining that the toke from a hand that they started is their toke, dang it! -grin-

I was just cringing the logistics for when there's a problem. Floor is called over, "ok, what happened here?" "I don't know, I pushed Joe after he dealt the flop.." .. ???? Seriously, can you just guess the issues? "Where's Joe now?" "Across the room on table 8..." Then what? You taking Joe out of another game so that he can come back to the other table to explain what happened? And, possibly again in the middle of a hand??
