Because not everything worth sharing or looking at needs a lot of discussion. If people posted LOL-type posts in OOT they would rightly be lambasted for cluttering up the place with low content threads. A LOL thread that generated too much discussion is probably in the wrong forum.

LoL is like OOT-exile. People who dont want to decide if theyre gonna get banned for 1 bad OP can post there w/o worrying.
