The tomatoes you had were either in cold storage or from South America. Peak tomatoes are in September, and are definitely no longer picked by November in North America. Squash, onions and pears are most recently in season, and all store well, so if we have to do produce, these would get my vote. But it's your show, so I'll stop preaching....Sorry, it's just my pet issue!
