when they're all pointed in just the right directions they all fall off at once. i don't think it matters which points in which direction.

holy crap, i got it to work.
leave the top one alone. move the guide box so the middle is on top of the plus of the piece. 2nd and 3rd pieces are the top arms, and align each one with the guidelines 2 away from the center top line. the 4th and 5th pieces will be the legs, and align them along the guildlines 1 away from the bottom center. they should all drop at once.
