what is genius about a bluff that never folds out a better hand

... you bet call AQ there? that's four types of terrible

[/ QUOTE ]

you check three streets with something that beats KQ there(obv if you have AQ and you get to river like this c/r is sweet)?

Its just that our opponent pretty much only has two types of hands after the pf/flop/turn action which are 77-TT type mid pps and broadway combos other than AK (KQ AJ AQ KJ). Now after your checks its somewhat clear (atleast to him) that his pair of jacks/queens is good and he should valuebet it so he does that and when you raise it doesn't make a lot of sense and he will then call because unless he suddenly gets some sort of stupid enlightment and thinks "wow he went all-in he must have a good hand I fold". Otherwise he will propably sum it up and snapcall with KJ. But if he is correctly thinking that your hand is what it is (TTish or lower) or AK/occasional air he might throw a bluff with 77-TT thinking you would fold 99 when he bets with 77. Now you would win by just calling. Looks like a silly spot to make a bluff when you are actually getting called with any hand that beats you even TJ and will fold any hand you beat (99 and lower).

edit: meh didnt read board/pf correctly before posting. Villain could obv have AK too but hero cant. With the reversed-to-what-I-was-thinking preflop action its easier for hero to rep Qx but I still cant see a) what villain is betting with that we wouldnt win by calling and b) what better hand he is betting and then folding. Obv. you're propably more clever than I am and will find sick metagame uses for this play if you get called.
