Cause he is a psycho mfer! I call it down and hope for A3.
With two players in the pot and not closing the action, I probably let it go preflop. A raise could be an option too. I don't like the limp.
Raising potentially gets you the button and folds the blinds.
NB: That is my round-about way of saying "raise or fold preflop" without sounding like a tool.
