Fun start for both of us but 'tis a long season.
Tonight we both have:
Morgan St +25.5 1u
Gardner Webb +25.5 1u
Gardner Webb/Kentucky U133 1u
The smaller schools are hanging with the top teams better than we expected. Morgan St. greatly improved last season under their new coach while UConn took large steps backward. They're returning their young core but it could still take them some time to put it all together. Their outside shooting is still a large weakness and it could be difficult for them to bury a team. Gardner Webb's offense looked good last night and Kentucky played a nice and complete game. Their offense isn't one to destroy a team but their D should contain Gardner Webb for the most part. I look for a low scoring battle of wills there.
