Also it is a "temporary" diamond in that if you do not get to 10000 points by year end you get only 3 months of the next year (or something like that...maybe it expires right at the end of the first year).

Hmm... I wouldn't actually want a Diamond card though. I'd just use it to get the Black Label Card. Once you get the Black Label Card, do you have to continue to meet certain requirements to keep it?
