Re: What is most profitable poker for \"grinding\"
I'm going to give you my process and draw from it/ask questions.
I built a BROLL with MTT's, decided to learn ring games.
I took about $1,000 roll to .1/.25 NL 9 handed games. I learned and am learning a ton, and am prepared to goto 6-8 tables. I decided purposely to pick starting stakes that were ridiculously small compared to my bankroll, which I think is very wise. Move up slow and play on profit. Play one game on one site, you'll learn the game and the players, and after a while when a stranger sits down you're probably agaisnt a fish, or someone uncomfortable with the game. Take good notes and practice all kinds of play, mix up tight/loose and passive/aggressive to figure out what's best for your game.
