I would give the guy back his 800 points but send him the spaghetti-strap thing anyway.
And then tell him that if he sends the Stars cust-serv people a pic of him wearing it then they'll give him another 1k FPP's.
Bonus FPP's if he has a super-hairy chest that is made to look especially ridiculous when he wears this thing.
