I ran into the same problem at a trip to KC,when I wanted to play in the 20/40 game at Station/Ameristar casino. I told the floor about my concern, he walked over to a player at the table who quietly sold me an extra $1000 in chips from his pocket. From what I could tell it was 6 regulars in the game and me, at first they were glad for some fresh meat, after the game broke the guy (Frank) who sold me the chips walked over to me and said quietly, "not next time".
