The last time I played a TV tournament prior to the WSOP was the $1060 buy-in NPL (Event 3, INHD TV Episode 7) at Caesars, where I was up against Full Tilt pros Andy Bloch, Perry Friedman (whom I busted), and Richard Brodie, as well as the rest of the "JV" that targeted the NPL tourney knowing full well that the "varsity" was over at the WPT event at Mandalay Bay.

I turned a $240 satellite parlay into $14K, not counting the sponsorship fee I got from TiltWare for wearing the "FullTiltPoker.NET" logo.

I'll let the audience decide whether that was good deal for me or not.
