TNM - Your PM box is full. Can you PM me the link for this?

I'm just going to post it here. Hopefully this is allowed, but since this type of info is already in the CTH forum I don't see why it would be.

I used www.jailbreakme.com to jailbreak, then followed the instructions at http://cre.ations.net/blog/post/howt...on-your-iphone to install SSH (which I used to load NES roms to my phone).

jailbreakme won't work if you are on 1.1.2 so if you have that on your phone (check by going to settings/general/about on your iphone) the go to Howard Forums or www.modmyiphone.com and you should be able to find a way to either roll back to 1.1.1 or jailbreak the phone through a different method.

Will updating software on ITunes brick the phone like other jailbreaks?

*neither I nor 2+2 is responsible for whatever happens to your iphone. There is some risk associate with modding any type of hardware so don't blame me if you iphone goes crazy and enslaves you.

That being said, according to several sources the worst case scenario is that you'll have to restore back to factory settings. There are several threads about this on Howard Forums but personally I'm just not updating until after I've read what the update is about and how it effects my phone. I'm in no hurry to have Apple's latest update when my phone is light years ahead of what they are doing anyway.
