Thanks, that's good stuff. 65% in overtime is unlikely in general, but its possible that Whiz thought he was close to it given the dynamics of this game (warner over 400 yards). My point was that posters seem to think OMG, the stupid coach didn't make an obvious right call cause he was afraid of criticism. What I know of Whiz is he's the type of coach who is aware of these percentages, is willing to take smart risks even if it makes him look dumb, and that the excess EV from going for it is murky at best.
