i'm taking a class on drug dependence.

our teacher threw out the other day that of people who try to quit smoking with no outside help, aka no programs or patches or family/friend support, only 2-3% succeed. that's a pretty amazing number.

all i would say is if you really wanna quit, get other people involved in it. your doctor, your friends, your family. otherwise, a couple weeks from now you'll come up with some lame excuse and start again.
