Default Re: what to do on the river when you are raised

Absent reads I'll usually threeball the river and piss and moan if he caps but call. He raised UTG four-handed; you have the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and one of the other broadway [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (and a near broadway [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]) is on the board; he called the turn HU; against most opponents I play against he doesn't have a flush; he doesn't have J8; he probably has a hand with a K (and maybe more) but he likely doesn't think you have an 8 or a flush often enough to fold to the three-bet on the river. After typing this, I think I three-bet the river virtually always wihout a specific read.
