Ok, I don’t know if this helps because it is very general but the main thoughts or considerations that go through my mind are in this order:
1. Position
2. Position
3. Position
4. Who has entered the pot
5. What bets have been made
6. Who is left to act
7. What are the chip stacks
8. What is my reading so far of all the players
9. What cards do I have
10. Now what I am trying to achieve (call, raise, fold?)
And yes, I know I put position there 3 times.
