Default Taj USPC $2K - Flopped Trips

Blinds 75/150, Villain in BB, I'm in SB, we both have around 12K. 4 or 5 limpers, I complete with T8o, BB checks. Flop: T T 5 rainbow. I check, BB bets 500, everyone folds, I make it 1500, he quickly calls. Turn: 2. I check, he bets 2000. Hero?

Relevant history: I played with Villain on my immediate left for about 1 1/2 hours at the beginning of the $1K event yesterday. He's a tight, solid player who I think plays more cash games than tourneys. He was unamused by the following hand yesterday: 50/100, I open for 250 in CO, he calls on button, BB calls. Flop: J T T rainbow, BB checks, I bet 500, Villain calls, BB folds. Turn: 9 putting 2 spades on board, I bet 1000, Villain calls. River: 8 (doesn't complete flush), I check, Villain bets 1000, I call, he has KJ, I have 74o.

Added bonus for those who have read this far, a bad beat story of how I busted out of the $2K event today (which has nothing to do with this post): 75/150, I have 6500, I raise UTG+2 to 375 with K3ss, BB who has me slightly covered calls. Flop: K Q 3 rainbow. BB checks, I bet 550, BB raises to 1500, I instashove, BB beats me in the pot with K4dd. There's one diamond on the board, turn and river are diamonds, gg me. Moral of the story: move to Atlantic City to play $2K events against players like this.
