LOL. He can't call w/ 67s getting 22:1?

God it must be so profitable to set mine some of you...

Well, let's take a look.

Let's say villain does this with any set, overpairs 99+, the pair+straight draw, the made straight and any two pair.

Board: 4d 5s 6h

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 60.858% 57.83% 03.03% 29197 1530.00 { AhAs }
Hand 1: 39.142% 36.11% 03.03% 18233 1530.00 { 99+, 66-44, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s }

Wow. We're way ahead of that range. Guess we should call.

Let's make villain nittier postflop and restrict the overpairs to QQ+.

Board: 4d 5s 6h

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 45.549% 42.04% 03.51% 13735 1146.00 { AhAs }
Hand 1: 54.451% 50.94% 03.51% 16643 1146.00 { QQ+, 66-44, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s }

Well, that's at least somewhat closer of a decision. Thing is, Hero is getting better odds than that on the call. Folding against that range is still a really bad idea.

Give hero QQ or even KK and we have a much more interesting situation. Hero doesn't have those hands, though. He has aces.

Spend less time living up to your location field and more time doing math. It'll make you a better poker player.
