Illini survived out in Oahu earlier tonight 79-77

Illinois was down 13 about halfway through the 2nd half, but used their superior depth to tire the Rainbow Warriors and take a 7 point lead with just over 4 minutes left. Bobby Nash of Hawai'i resumed his superman powers and drilled 3 straight shots to bring a seemingly hapless team back. Illinois ended up executing better down the stretch with a nice post move by Pruitt and a last second possession where Brock drove the baseline after Hawai'i got confused on defense.

good things:

bad things:
a few newcomers were 'shellshocked' playing on the road
Randle still likes to foul
Didn't come out intense--Only outrebounded Hawai'i by one in the first half
