My eyes got a little misty, but I choose to see the positive there. She was able to share something with her family, even if they didn't really realize it at the time.

Moreover, she gave her son(s) a way to remember her after she was gone. Certainly she knew that they didn't play much anymore if at all, but at some point would go back and revisit the game. Really, given her condition, it was a very touching story.
