Getting lost here is a great argument for just reraising pf. I agree with Dave, calling from the CO is a great deceptive move, but if you're gonna get lost doing it then it's probably not a good idea. Obviously you can't get away now, so put the monies in. Note that if you reraised PF, the 2 hands we're talking about, AQ and KK, would have almost certainly called. The value to flat calling was that AQ will stack off postflop now, whereas if you reraised he may well put you on KK or AA and get away (of course, he would probably just cheerfully stack off with TPTK, but whatever.)
