I remember the time we were playing HORSE (or maybe it was CHORSEL) and Nolan, with a beer in his hand and seemingly half looped looked across the table and told the player sitting next to me exactly what she had in her hand and why. We were playing a round of RAZZ at the time. It was a perfect read, something Daniel Negreanu might do. Just screwing around, Nolan could play circles around me. It was fun to play him heads up for about an hour in that hateful Chowaha game. But also stressful and exhausting. You young guys don't realize the stamina required for tournament play.
