It would be a big mistake to let her take something on a "payment plan" rather than having her pay you in full before she leaves. That would mean that you have to maintain contact with her, which will inevitably get messy, and even if you do draw up some sort of contract, are you really going to want to pay for lawyers and go through all that hassle just to get the money she owes you??

Either insist she's paid her half of anything she wants to take before she leaves, or accept that you're giving your stuff to her for free. Moral: don't purchase household items in any sort of split...learned this one after fighting with 3 sorority girls about the value of our tv after depreciation...never again.
