I can only assume this means that the bellagio has decided they no longer want to give up the fontana bar to poker players 3 months a year.

It's not because the Bellagio doesn't want to give up the Fontana Bar, it's because the Fontana Bar is currently being used for baccarat until the Baccarat Bar pit is completed.
It could've been worse. Supposedly, Bellagio hire-ups wanted to stick the tourney over in the ballroom area. Which would've killed the tourney. The poker room had to fight to get the tables where they are.
