You don't need too many reads in the 16s to have a 10% roi or so... some people 30 table for > 13%. Basic ICM and knowing who the regs are is sufficient. That said, I think 10k in the 16s is very doable, though I really think you should be playing more than 12 tables if you are comfortable doing so.
