There's nothing wrong with playing the 2.20's to start out and learn the basics. It's true that the rake is high but the buy-in is low, which is nice if you're just getting started. Of course, as soon as you graduate to "not complete noob", move up. And use a hh converter, my eyes hurt. That being said: if you can justify being passive otb then you can probably loosen up oop. The A8 hand you shoulda raised pre and you definitely shouldn't have 3bet. The whole reason you were limping in the first place was because villain makes mistakes postflop. From what I could tell you're not aggro enough in position and too agg w/ marginal hands oop. Ex. the big QJ hand - I wouldnt 3bet it at this level and definately not that much. I'll I got right now.
