This is so read/player/flop texture dependent. A 1/3 to 1/2 bet is generally too small and will often be seen as a blocker. 2/3 to pot is ideal. Generally the drier the flop the better your odds of pushing the pfr off his hand. A flat call means so much so bet more than less to gather the info. early in the cheap betting rounds.
