At my local cardroom. On the third hand or so of a final table a player goes all in. The dealer though takes his cards and puts them in the muck thinking he was folding (all in sits in one seat). The floor is called is it is ruled (not incorrectly) that the raise stands and that his hand is dead. Everyone folds to the BB who says, "sorry, i need the money" and raises winning the hand.
Raiser is eliminated.
Ill way to lose a final table.
