Default Re: Lead in paulson chips

Here is another article about the lead, with some more disturbing revalations:

[ QUOTE ]
The highest in our lab tests: A Caesar's Palace chip - made by Paulson.

It's 45 percent lead....750-times higher than the standard.

Humble was shocked when we showed him the lab results. "Your top chip is nearly half lead. I think there's really no doubt that these results are going to end up causing a chain-reaction throughout this country that's going to really end up with the recall of this product."

[/ QUOTE ]

[ QUOTE ]
We discovered even more than lead on and in the chips.

When the chips are handled, tiny particles, that can be inhaled, flake-off.

We sent those particles to the same lab.

They too came back positive for lead.

An inhalation risk that Will Humble says is very real for people who work in casinos or make the chips. "1000 parts per million? Ya,that's too high, way too high."

[/ QUOTE ]

I would be concerned if I owned these, and very concerned if I worked in a casino handling these chips.
