The one useful piece of advice that I found was make sure your nvidia driver is the latest (
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us )... vista is a piece of you know what otherwise imo... EDIT: could also be samsung's fault... one of the weird solutions that was on that google page:
"COMPLETELY UNPLUG THE POWER CABLE OF THE MONITOR and replug it[after waiting a few minutes]" not really sure why this works but it apperently did for some people.

Yea.. my drivers are the newest. Laptop video drivers have to come from the laptop site, but they did have relatively recent ones. That didn't do anything. Not sure if installing XP as dual boot would be a good idea, I'd really like to get the thing working in Vista.
