Hey what was that phone scam?
I remember it was pretty smooth. You gave out some info but nothing too serious and they used it to pwn you.
Cingular called me like a week ago and left a message about me returning my defective phone back to them. I never got a new phone or had a defective one so I dunno.
So I ignored. She called again a few days ago, same deal, so I call back at 1800 601 1723. I Googled the number got nothing. I get a press 1 etc. menu and I get an answering machine? All I left was my name and phone number, telling them they're wrong. Haven't heard back yet. Then I remembered that scam.
Also, that number isn't on Cingular's website as far as I know.
am i pwnt?
