Actually, South Point has them on about 10 tables in the pits closest to the sports book now. Was there a few days ago and noticed them, was like...weird, wtf did they add these. Not all the games have them. It actually adds about .3% or something to the house edge on a 2 deck game without having them. It's not cuz they are cheap, it's because they are one of the few places with low limit DD and want to push it as far as they can.
Btw, to the OP, Gaughan's places have never wanted high action, hence the low table max's and the sweating of the money.
