Imagine that. Customers expect a response from business they deal with on issues of concern to them, and that makes the businesses not want to interact with them?

Sciolist & Scotty,

I am sure we all appreciate your taking the time on your own time to unofficially help fellow posters in areas you are knowledgeable about from your employment with stars. But while you have good intentions in so doing, it still nonethless seems best to me to have "official" responses to some questions, especially on those having to do with game structure and integrity. However if Lee's replacement has been named and is in the process of moving, then hopefully we will have such official responses after they are settled in.

MicroBob,

While it is true that stars and a handful of other sites have done a far better job than ones who never have responded here, or have like party poker and Mike O'Malley resonded with lies and promises that weren't kept, that does not lower the bar for what the customers here should expect of a site with which they do business.

In particular, not being willing to *fully* discuss many issues just isn't acceptable. A glaring example of this was the bots reponse by FT where they only gave one weak canned response, and then refused to come back and deal with questions that they didn't address.

I want to make it clear that stars is my favorite site, and that of all the ones currently dealing with US customers, I hope they prosper long term. But that doesn't mean I am willing to give them a pass on not responding in detail to matters of game structure and integrity, while they answer easy fluffier matters like FPP stuff and tourney payout structures.
